- "Hi, I'm Lissett Vega. I have 6 years of combined hands-on experience as a Producer within film, television, and radio / podcast production.
- In film, I've supported and collaborated with Executive Producers and Directors for commercials, TV shows, live events, and indies; sucessfully completing all projects underbudget. I have gained a 35% increase of new clients year over year due to performance referrals.
- As a Producer and Program Manager at 95.1 KVCM Radio, I trained incoming engineers to run the boards for on-air radio personalities, DJs and podcast hosts.

Roles + Goals
Creative Producer
As a Producer, I currently support productions with financial budgeting, script editing, as well as talent and crew hiring.
My ultimate goal is to be an Executive Producer for film, television and streaming shows. I would love to create and produce a show that genuinely reflects the upbringing of girls and women from underserved Latine and Native communities.
Academics
As a UCLA student, I will continue on the path to graduating with honors at a 4.0 GPA. By the end of my journey in higher education, I will have published visual and written research projects that will be presented to grant committees, graduate programs, and prospective employers.
SELF-INSTRUCTION
I consistently produce content for radio by writing and voicing PSAs, commercials, and news segments as well as build relationships with bands, artists and their management firms to book live interviews for our weekly radio shows.
UCLA
I am a student at the University of California - Los Angeles. I am double majoring in Film and Television as well as American Indian Studies.
My current research consists of documenting the lives of young girls and women from local Native nations. I want to share the matriarchial power within Native American and Indigenous Latine culture.
LAVC
At Los Angeles Valley College I majored in Film, Television, and Media. My classmates and I worked tirelessly for the campus'
Broadcasting Club where we assisted various academic departments, the Associated Student Union, and the college's administration with filming commercials, fundraisers, and live sporting events. This earned us additional funding, as well as winning the title of "Club of the Year" within Los Angeles' nine college district.
Activities
I love to spend my free time with my LA Hi-TECH students. I teach LA County High School students applicable board engineering skills that can be used at any Radio Station in the country.

VOLUNTEER WORK
Under the direction of Dae Bogan's music industry entrepreneurship course, three fellow UCLA students and I started developing a music tech app called, InTheLoop. We are determined to solve concert patrons' concerns with the rising live event ticket prices, the ability to meet other fans, as well as secure transportation to the venue. We are in the pre-incubation stages, and are focused on strengthening the entertainment industry with InTheLoop.
